Too many days

Looking at a grungy chair spurred me to re-cover it today.  I had no staple gun, hammer, or hi temp glue gun.   I think it looks great!

All the things I cannot talk about

There are so many struggles going on right now involving surveys, property lines, walls without permits, falling down fences, and RCMP, that I cannot talk about any of them. 


So instead I am going to talk about how wonderful my 12 year old daughter is!

Seriously,  there are times I wanna give her a swirly but she is becoming a simply lovely caring young lady!

  With the note that that shirt was not allowed out of the house and did not survive the night.

She puts others first, always looking for a way to right the wrongs (unless she is the cause of the wrongs).    She has a memory like an iron trap especially if it involves her not getting something
She is a real delight to have around and always willing and able to make me smile!

This is where I have been!

So instead of being a good blogger I started hanging round here.......   Bad bad me I know.    The only down side to the site is the pop ups but, there are only a couple per episode.   I have seen more movies and shows than ever before.  Perfect for the 40 degree heat we are having right now!

I watched Julie and Julia always wanted to see it never found the time I loved it!!!  What a great movie






    I love3 the variety I have been able to watch some good some bad and some intriguing. A great show is Oddities.....Truly oddball people!

So this is my one day a week to sleep!  Generally that means I go hard at sleep till at least 10.      So just before 9 I heard a







    None of those are terribly unusual to hear in this house.....

 I said sure where. 
The answer?  Emerg cause that was a needle shattering in the sewing machine and he wanted to make sure everything was okay because it bled before he got me up.   What I don't know won't hurt.


Thankfully there were no lineups or tragedies in Emedrg so we were in and out fairly quick.  No damage not torn ripped or poked cornea!

Just a little brag!

So this post.... yeah you see that amazing blue green purse?  See that flower???? Yeah thats mine!
  I am in love with it Boss Lady asked me to make a flower for the purse and I was sitting at my desk trying to Etsy  (yes I know I made that a verb!) and seeing the scraps on my desk and work went out the window!

Fill in the Blank Friday

1.   One thing that is completely superfluous, but that I could never give up is  this is a hard one because over the years I have given up, changed, and evolved so much that stuff froma few years ago no longer applies!

2.   Entering a room where I know nobody    makes me feel awkward.

3.  I can't   sleep   without total dark or at least 80% dark

4.   Cheese, crackers and Imitation crab meat  is my favorite snack.

5.  Lately I've been  pondering my invisible belly button an wondering what next in the rand scheme of things.

6.  If at first you don't succeed  re-asses!

7.  Spring is  lovely but far to humid this year!

Foot care!

So I saw this pin a few weeks ago.... Of course I forgot to take before and after pics so I redid it tonight ( Thanks Boss Lady! )

So I took a before picture... excuse the dirty feet please!  

 

I used this awesome product after the soaking part.  I used my foot bath for the solution

And the shavings I created from one foot there was probably 3 times as much after both feet!

So much nicer and softer.  The article suggests doing this only once a week.  But since my feet are so trashed I will do it twice a week of a month.
