Don't ask!

SO you know when you ask a question not knowing 110% what the answer is then you find out and go oh sh1t?   Yeah that was me last night.  I saw something on party A's FB and thought hmm.. better mention it to  Party B just in case.   Yup better to not have asked that question!   What a maelstrom of destructive behavior that has been.  When you watch adults in their 30's acting like little kids on the playground you kinda gotta give your head a shake.

Needless to say 2 people have un friended me.. Party B had her knickers seriously twisted and I had two beers for dinner!  Pretty yummy pairs well with chinese food too!

Lesson learned just don't ask!

A day late and a dollar short!

1.  Today is a great day because,  it has finally stopped raining and  being grey! 

2.   Tomorrow I will  go to church then do something... Darned if  remember what! Oh yes pick up 2 adorable dreses for  She Who giggles (SWG)

3.  My favorite time of day is   well there are 2, in the morning when nobody is there and I slept in and then also in the evenings when 2/3 are cuddly kids.

4. Sometimes you just have to  laugh so hard you snort! Or cry really big and ugly 

5. A song that I just can't get enough of lately is ; Livin' on Love by Alan Jackson!

6. My favorite accessory is a bag. (Handbag sounds too formal).  And painted nails.  Does not mater which bag, large or small or what colored nails!

7.  My favorite thing about this week was   the day off I had and we, Meliscious, MM and I went site hunting for Indelible Imagery, I sat on a really uncomfortable rock, got horse poop in  my NEW runners, and sawdust in parts that shall not be mentioned! SO all in all a fantastic day!

Technology.....

You remember the picture in my last post?    Yeah the phone is in a coma state still.  I can turn it on....... but that is it it loads but the touch screen is not loving my touch.. and it does not charge.  MM will be trying to resurrect it this week. 


I cannot believe how much I miss it.   No texting Boss Lady when I have a question,  no laying in bed playing silly games before bed.  NO chatting on the phone and Internet shopping.   I had no clue how dependent on my phone I was until... the fateful mud incident.

You mean it's been how long?????

I know it has been quite some time.  At least that's how it feels.    Boss Lady got in a car accident a few weeks ago and that really took away all motivation! I was just too tired!
 
But today we re did family pictures.     Yes there will be a new simply charming picture of Princess Charming. (we might just have to rename her!)   After all the group shots I got to so my most favorite thing... Play in the mud!   Princess Bolly and I had fun with Sweet boy adding mud for good measure!  My phone suffered in the making of this it was in the hip that was sunk down into the mud.  It is now in it's own rice bath.  Just praying it comes up working

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.  My greatest strengths is  my ability to bounce back from challenges that might not have gone my way.  Or to flip tasks easily.

2.   My greatest weaknesses are   my ability to multi-task leads me to want to keep moving forward and not tidying up the loose ends as I go.  I have about 3 projects that only need a little TLC each then they will be completely done, but to go back and finish feels like such a waste of time!  

And the Fact I think the world will end or at least end a relationship if I say NO.....  especially with more casual people in my life (Boss Lady you are  safe!

3.  People always compliment me on    my drive to get things done (which quite often leads to my weakness being played out).

4. If you found me procrastinating you'd probably find me    on Facebook or Etsy!

5. The most cozy place in all the world is  my bed - alone or with a great book and pot of tea!

6. Something new that I tried recently was   not worrying about where the next chunk of money was coming from.  Not getting stressed and bitchy when supplies are running low.

7.  This weekend I would like to  relax and enjoy my kids... maybe putter in the garden. Well not like I have a garden but I have pots!

And today's theme is....COLOUR!

1.  My favourite colour is   purple. This picture has it all for me!

2.   My home decor colour palette includes  Early Childhood Decor still reigns! Like this

3.  Other people always tell me I look good in the colour    blue or just about anything cheerful .

4. The colour I detest am not a fan of is   most drabs.  Since I started  working  here, I have a new appreciation for colours.  I cannot think  of a colour that on some level I don't like.  The colour wheel is full of inspiration and opportunities to try something new.

5. If you were to look in my closet most of the colours you'd see would be   bright bold and beautiful! And some basic black to be the base for it all!

6. A colour that I simply cannot pull off no matter how hard I try is  tomato red.  

or firetruck red is also a big no no Kinda funny they are not that far apart.

7.  The colour of my favourite dress is  well my favourite non cotton is black, short and timeless .  My favourite cotton is shades of brown and has a shirred top. (holds the boobs and looks cute.  And it is ankle length which at 6 feet tall is a minor miracle!
