Anyways I have been busy making some gorgeous new flowers from up-cycled goodies!

So here is a small treat for you!

 This my total favorite one (for now).  SO girly and gorgeous!








Tulle, chiffon, organza, polyester suit lining..... nothing is too good for me!  Reclaimed buttons, velvet... you name it I will try to make something from it!

Tempted to call this Brain Vomit

There have been so many thoughts rioting in my head lately thought I had better just get them out! 

1.  Face book friends do not equal life friends.    As related in this post  Even though the 2 people who UN-friended me I saw weekly I never had more than a passing acquaintance with, still kinda sucks when all I did was ask a question!
 Object Lesson Learned

2.  When you wake up almost fall out of bed, have a shower, forget the towel, and then find your favorite shirt now has bleach marks on it.... you are fully allowed to go back to bed.    Then when you do get to work and the phone is accidentally unplugged.. leave it like that!  That way drama cannot seep in with each phone call!

3.   When unplugged phone gets re-plugged do not answer it!

4.  When drama ensues make sure you have headphones handy to block out noise!

5.  If you don't have headphones turning up the police scanner REALLY LOUD!!!!!!

6.  When you tell Boss Lady about regretsy.com  go to the bathroom before she starts gasping and laughing.


7. There is a vast difference between doing the right thing and doing the best choice.  If there is a family member you do not want to be around why bring them to your family picture day??  SERIOUSLY !!!  

8. People need to start thinking  about more than themselves in their actions and deeds.  

9.  Melting polyester can be fun and smelly but can also be a little deadly to the finger tips!   This is a small sample of the bunch I have made since Friday.  I will be sure to post the etsy link when they are up for sale!

10.   MY dear MM found me this today! 


He thinks it might have been an ashtray but it is gorgeous and t'will be full of some useful desk-like thing.

Don't ask!

SO you know when you ask a question not knowing 110% what the answer is then you find out and go oh sh1t?   Yeah that was me last night.  I saw something on party A's FB and thought hmm.. better mention it to  Party B just in case.   Yup better to not have asked that question!   What a maelstrom of destructive behavior that has been.  When you watch adults in their 30's acting like little kids on the playground you kinda gotta give your head a shake.

Needless to say 2 people have un friended me.. Party B had her knickers seriously twisted and I had two beers for dinner!  Pretty yummy pairs well with chinese food too!

Lesson learned just don't ask!

A day late and a dollar short!

1.  Today is a great day because,  it has finally stopped raining and  being grey! 

2.   Tomorrow I will  go to church then do something... Darned if  remember what! Oh yes pick up 2 adorable dreses for  She Who giggles (SWG)

3.  My favorite time of day is   well there are 2, in the morning when nobody is there and I slept in and then also in the evenings when 2/3 are cuddly kids.

4. Sometimes you just have to  laugh so hard you snort! Or cry really big and ugly 

5. A song that I just can't get enough of lately is ; Livin' on Love by Alan Jackson!

6. My favorite accessory is a bag. (Handbag sounds too formal).  And painted nails.  Does not mater which bag, large or small or what colored nails!

7.  My favorite thing about this week was   the day off I had and we, Meliscious, MM and I went site hunting for Indelible Imagery, I sat on a really uncomfortable rock, got horse poop in  my NEW runners, and sawdust in parts that shall not be mentioned! SO all in all a fantastic day!

Technology.....

You remember the picture in my last post?    Yeah the phone is in a coma state still.  I can turn it on....... but that is it it loads but the touch screen is not loving my touch.. and it does not charge.  MM will be trying to resurrect it this week. 


I cannot believe how much I miss it.   No texting Boss Lady when I have a question,  no laying in bed playing silly games before bed.  NO chatting on the phone and Internet shopping.   I had no clue how dependent on my phone I was until... the fateful mud incident.

 So if nothing else I have fantastic pictures and memories!

You mean it's been how long?????

I know it has been quite some time.  At least that's how it feels.    Boss Lady got in a car accident a few weeks ago and that really took away all motivation! I was just too tired!
 
But today we re did family pictures.     Yes there will be a new simply charming picture of Princess Charming. (we might just have to rename her!)   After all the group shots I got to so my most favorite thing... Play in the mud!   Princess Bolly and I had fun with Sweet boy adding mud for good measure!  My phone suffered in the making of this it was in the hip that was sunk down into the mud.  It is now in it's own rice bath.  Just praying it comes up working
